Frequency is a jazz experience that you won't want to miss. Made up of Josh Norling on bass, Matt Devost on clarinet, Matt Yzereef on guitar, Tyler Farquharson on drums, and Mark Mancini on alto sax, this eclectic jazz group plays everything from classic standards, cool ballads, experimental originals and everything in between. Frequency has taken Sudbury by storm since its formation in 2010, out of Laurentian University's jazz program. The group is often featured at jazz venues across the city, including at the 1500 Club, where the quintet is seen wailing on Wednesday nights.
